Jala is a German cinematographer living between Los Angeles and Berlin.
Trautmann is behind AMC’s highly popular FEAR THE WALKING DEAD (Season 5 & 6) and THE WALKING DEAD (Season 10), MIKE (Hulu) and TULSA KING (Paramount+). He has also shot several feature films, including Karl Golden’s BRUNO and SONG FOR MARIA. Trautmann served as a 2nd Unit DP on BERLIN, I LOVE YOU and the International Emmy Award nominee NAKED AMONG WOLVES and was awarded with a German Camera Award for his work on Miguel Angelo Pate’s short film SWEETHEART. Since his start, he has worked internationally in over 50 countries supporting directors and their visions with work spanning fashion commercials, cars, shorts, music videos, indie features and TV shows.
